Foster for Warwickshire 2023 Campaign
Foster carers provide a loving and stable home to children and young people who are unable to live with their birth family. Children in care may have had a difficult start in life and foster carers are supported to work as part of a team to achieve the best outcomes for any children they care for. Our foster carers tell us that ‘fostering can be a challenging role, but it’s all worth it to see the difference we make in a young persons’ life’. We are in urgent need of foster carers to provide a loving home to children throughout the county. Could you foster for Warwickshire?

Something's Not Right
Hundreds of children and young people in Warwickshire are exploited. It takes place in many forms and is the manipulation and/or coercion of young people under the age of 18. Child exploitation can manifest itself in different forms, including child abuse, sexual exploitation, county lines drug dealing, criminal exploitation, human trafficking and online grooming. It is a crime that can affect any child anywhere, anytime regardless of their social or ethnic background or whether they are a boy or a girl. Warwickshire County Council has launched this powerful advert to raise awareness of child exploitation happening across the county. The aim is to encourage young people, parents, carers, teachers, professionals and all other members of the community to learn more about child exploitation, how to spot the signs and most importantly how to report it or get support by visiting the campaign website www.somethingsnotright.co.uk. With thanks to Avon Valley School, Rugby for providing the filming location.
